Heritage India Foundation The Heritage India Foundation is a non-governmental endeavor that intends to cultivate awareness about the glorious cultural wealth and monumental built heritage of the nation through different measures like sensitizing the public about their local physical settings and cultural landscape and by undertaking projects of preservation and conservation of buildings of historical value.

The Heritage India Foundation aims to disseminate information about heritage, conservation of historic environment of a city like Delhi. Above all it will work to bring a desirable change in people's approach towards the building of great antiquity and aesthetic value.

The Heritage India Foundation has undertaken projects like :
Restoration of Red Fort lawns,
A coffee table book called " "Delhi : The Emperor's City " on the havelis of Chandni Chowk.

Conservation of a 300 years old ancestral haveli at village Anandpur, near Sonepat, Haryana. The haveli , popularly known as Lala Khem Chand ki haveli , is a representative structure of its period . Reflecting the various elements of the predominant architectural style of Agra and Delhi region, which reached its pinnacle under the royal patronage of the ruling Mughals, it also contains several features of traditional Rajasthani style, and touches of other indigenous architecture styles.
A museum of village craft - an educative experience for the young generation.
The restored haveli has been developed into a village museum where agricultural appliances, traditional women's home-making equipments like chulha , chakki, charkha, earthen pottery have been displayed to enable the young generation to know more about our culture , standard of living , clothing and customs of our rural brethren . The Museum is ready and school children from Delhi often visit the museum - a veritable rural haven in this village.
