Rajya Sabha MP and Former BJP Delhi President Shri Vijay Goel today congratulated BJP candidates for securing 5 seats out of 8 seats in Delhi Cantonment Board elections. This victory of Bharatiya Janata Party has set the mood for upcoming Delhi Elections which will be held on February 7, 2015.
Shri Goel said, “The cantonment area comprises of people from different strata of the society be it from JJ clusters or army background. BJP securing over 2/3rd seats in these elections clearly signifies that people want a stable, good government in Delhi. I am sure that people will give a clear mandate to Bharatiya Janata Party to ensure all round development in the city and to help create a ‘new’ Delhi.”
He further added that AAP and Congress have always indulged in smear campaign by making false accusations. Today those spreading lies cannot be defeated by anybody but the people.
Shri Goel said, “I congratulate all the candidates for scoring a massive victory in Delhi Cantonment Board Elections. I also thank party workers for reaching out to every nook and corner in the area for success in these elections.”
