  • Delhi is in a pathetic condition, all thanks to Kejriwal: Vijay Goel
In order to protest against the treatment meted out to Delhiites with lack of progress and implementations of policies by the Kejriwal led Delhi government, Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Vijay Goel led a Delhi BachaoAndolan (Save Delhi Movement) joined by various NGOs, RWAs and other organisations from the capital. A vacant chair depicting the CM’s chair was part of a tableau that formed the main attraction of the march was symbolic to Kejriwal’s disappearance from Delhi and the miseries of the Delhiities due to AAP government’s misgovernance.
Leading the march Goel said, “When Kejriwal lost from Varanasi, he promised never not to leave Delhi and would work for the capital’s development, but now it’s shocking to see not a single Minister of the AAP government in Delhi”.

Goel stated that Delhi government schools are in a deplorable condition and there are instances of 150 students studying in one classroom at different time slots, no ration cards have been issued as the government officials are hand in glove with the black marketers. Cleaning of the Yamuna as taken a backseat, 18 mini-sewerage plants that were supposed to be put in action haven’t even started, pollution levels seem to be at an all time high and the Odd-Even schemes initiated to curb the menace only led to wastage of the tax-payers’ money thanks to explicit spending by Kejriwal& Co. Infrastructure development is a myth with no addition to transport buses and no policy to check the growing number of e-rickshaws that ply without proper certification or law.

Goel added that cleanliness of Delhi has gone for a toss with several strikes called by MCD workers due to non-payment of salaries/dues. Entire Delhi has been converted into a slum with a promise of 2 lakh toilets but the situation in reality is very grim. Laying of new pipelines hasn’t been executed and taps are running dry in most of the areas. Goel said that instead of discharging his duties, Kejriwal is busy touring Punjab and Goa for personal gains which has led to corruption and malpractices within his government. And in order to counter this, Delhi BachaoAndolan will continue to expose the malpractices of Kejriwal and his team by similar marches, rallies etc. in the capital.

My vision for Delhi stems from these inspiring words of Swami Vivekanada. I sincerely believe that Delhi has enough number of brave, bold men and women who can make it not only one of the best cities.

Youth Development Youth is the backbone of our country's progress and we all need to work towards their overall development. Apart from providing training & employment in traditional careers I have always encouraged active youth participation in politics.

Law and order is the most important aspect of any government as it provides its people the critical protection against non-social elements. Delhi, being the capital of India, must stand as a role model for security and safety of its citizens.

Housing To own a home, irrespective of the size, is a dream cherished by many. I understand this sentiment and that is why I championed the cause to help protect the applicants who were promised homes and felt cheated by the Delhi government.

Power is one of the basic amenities of life happens to be a matter of great concern for the citizens of Delhi. Faulty meters, power shortage and inflated power bills are the most common grievances faced by every other citizen.

Water is vital for the existence of life but we need to realize that like all the other resources it is not unlimited and, going by the experts' opinion, the next war could be fought because of it.

I believe the youth is the backbone of our country's progress and I have always worked towards their overall development.

Lottery may look like a deceivingly simple subject but then looking back on our campaign we realize that we tackled an extremely complicated issue. The subject remained unresolved in spite of being under consideration by the Govt. of India for over 30 years.

Chandni Chowk I have a keen interest in exploring and learning about culture, traditions and Heritage. Chandni Chowk, my former parliamentary constituency, is a perfect example of the multicultural and multi-religious India.
