New Delhi, 14 August, 2019: Raising the slogans “Lal Quila se Lal Chowk tak tiranga hi tiranga”, MP and former BJP Delhi President, Vijay Goel undertook a tiranga yatra on cycles with hundreds of youth. Goel along with Union Ministers Babul Supriyo and Sanjiv Balyan cycled to Amar Jawan Jyoti in this Tiranga Yatra.
Goel said that the Independence Day commemorates brave soldiers who were martyred everything to protect the country. Everytime the sovereignty of Bharat has been in danger because of the enemy forces, our brave soldiers have sacrificed themselves. This Tiranga Yatra has been organised by Goel from Ashoka Road Chowk to Amar Jawan Jyoti to commemorate the courage and valour of our brave soldiers. Goel said that Sardar Patel unified the country by merging the princely states in India, today PM Modi ji is carrying his legacy forward by fighting terrorism, naxalism, and pervasive corruption in the country.
Dr. Sanjiv Balyan, Union Minister said that by repealing the Article 370, PM Modi ji and Home Minister Amit Shah ji have realized the dream of one strong India from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.
Union Minister Babul Supriyo said that only former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's formula of "Insaniyat, Kashmiriyat and Jamhooriyat" will work in Jammu and Kashmir.
Goel said that this Tiranga Yatra carries forward the “gandagi bharat chodho”, “aatankwaad bharat chodho”, “jaatiwaad bharat chodho” messages of PM Modi.
The participants of the Tiranga Yatra had tied the tricolor and placards on their bicycles which had slogans like “With the repealing of Article 370, Kashmir has gained true independence”, and “Aatankwaad haari hai, ab PoK ki baari hai”, “Kashmir har Hindustani ka naaz hai, Kashmir Hindustan ka taaz hai”, “har Hindustani ka naara, poora Kashmir hamara”.
