New Delhi, 16 th December, 2019: Using Jamia as a pawn, some political groups are trying to incite violence, mislead and instigate violence. BJP MP and former Union Minister Vijay Goel visited Jamia area today where anti-social elements raised slogans against him and impeded his way. Goel appealed to people to maintain peace and not to be instigated by violent pleas of anti-social elements who are politicising Citizenship Amendment Act.
Goel said that India is a democracy and decisions are taken on majority. Opposition parties like Congress, Aam Aadmi Party and others are frustrated by their defeat on the floor of Parliament and are  Attempting to rid their frustration. This is why they are attempting to incite violence. Aam Aadmi Party’s Kejriwal first tweets and requests not to incite violence and then himself behind the curtains instigates violence. Manish Sisodia is also playing blame- game and alleging that BJP is dividing Hindu-Muslim. Someone should ask why Aam Aadmi Party’s Amanutllah Khan was delivering violent speech? Was he sent by BJP as well?
Sisodia is labelling fake allegations against the police that they burnt the bus. Bus has not been burnt, it is just broken. Goel told people that Citizenship Amendment Act does not affect the rights of Indian
Muslims. Their citizenship, rights and facilities are same as before. Why is Congress and Aam Aadmi Party inciting violence on what issue? Delhi’s Hindu-Muslim have cordial relations like Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb. Congress and Aam Aadmi Party is trying to divide Delhi on communal lines. Muslims are being instigating.
Goel today visited Holy Family Hospital 11 injured students. One of the students, Mujjamil Islam, B. Tech first year student, a Jamia student told that anti-social elements entered library forcefully because of which he got hurt. Mujjamil’s brother Ashkin requested Go el to help him pay hospital bills. Goel settled their entire hospital bill. Goel said that he will help rest 10 students Md. Nazrul, Taamin, Azam Shakim, Nurul, Maksood Ahmad, Salmaan, Shayaan, Md. Rashid, Amir so that they do not have to pay hefty hospitalisation charges.

Appreciating the staff of Holy Family hospital, Goel said that doctors have been treating the injured well. Goel has been a member of Jamia Milia Islamia’s Anjuman court.
